CLASS PRESENTATIONS
• What happened in the event you chose?
• Which elements are most significant and why?
• What does the event demonstrate about the thinking of policymakers?
• Why did you choose this event?
• Which of the theories best help us understand the issue?
• Does the event in question demonstrate shortcomings in the theories?
• How does this event fit with other topics we have discussed?
- Each student will prepare a current events presentation.
- The presentation will consist of a written executive summary and a 5 minute oral presentation (utilizing PowerPoint slides).
- The purpose of these presentations is to expose the class to a wide variety of relevant issues.
- Selected students will present during each class session.
- Guidelines for the presentation (including suggested topics) will be distributed during the previous class session.
