SCIENCE PROJECT

All students are required to complete a science project.

Complete the assignments in accordance with your SYLLABUS.

Please adhere to DUE DATES.

JMIA SCIENCE CRITERIA

 JMIA has 13 categories (BEHAVORIAL SCIENCE, BIOCHEMISTRY, BOTANY, ENVIRONMENT SCIENCE, MEDICINE & HEALTH, MICROBIOLOGY, ZOOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, EARTH & SPACE, ENGINEERING, MATHEMATICS, COMPUTERS, & PHYSICS) and 5 types of science fair studies (COLLECTION, ENGINEERING, EXPERIMENT, MODEL, & OBSERVATION) for our 6th-8th graders.  The CATEGORIES’ DESCRIPTIONS and JUDGING CRITERA for each type of study are outlined below.  The JUDGES SCORING CRITERIA for each category are outlined below also.  Students are to use TRI-FOLD BOARDS for their display board; and are to outline materials as noted below.
